I regret to tell u Rick Martinez, former co manager of Hobby Lobby, Joliet, Il has filed a law suit against you with EEOC. I tried to contact EEOC but told my wait time was 30 min. After 60 min I gave up. A good way to handle problems??? Here I am, he dated 2 girls at the store, one a Denise Pesola, and was seen touching her behind in public. The store manager reported it to upper management, which resulted in Mr Martinez being terminated. When he discovered this he told the store manager " WATCH YOUR BACK' Having worked for State Police 20 yrs this is considered a threat! Strange the next day an anonymous letter was sent to upper management stating the supervisor was pushing and putting other employees down. This resulted in the store manager being terminated after ten yrs of 12 hrs days, no lunches, and this same supervisor had received an award for best management 2 weeks earlier! Some of his employees called in when they found out he was terminated, a protest. Doesnt sound like he was unfair. Does a letter from an anonymous person good cause? You are a Christian based company and Im sure u do not approve of sexual innuendos Im sure your law suit will say discrimination, but you know the real story. Good Luck! Mary Landa
