I got a call on my cell phone from a person from American Auto Discount on April 9th. Said I have been approved for a $100.00 Wal-Mart gift card for shopping at Wal-mart and they have drawing my name and visa transaction from there data. He even had the name of the bank name and the last 4 digits of the card. Said all I had to do is pay the 3.95 shipping fee to receive3 the card in the mail. Then he tells me I need to answer a few question on a recorded line by just but I need to agree with the question by saying the word OK. But do not a worry I won't be charged any of the fee they mention on the recording. He also cuts in on the recording if you say anything different from the information he told you to say. Now he has all your information from the gift card fee. Like your credit card info and name address, phone # and email. Next he tells you to take the phone # down so you can cancel all these service out. So you will not get charged you have 10 days. He also said you can call the #s that are in the packages as well and cancel. Do to the recording is set at the speed of light you are scrambling to get the phone#s and saying OK all in a spit second. Very mean thing to do... While all these services CO. Are charging your debit card for there shipping fees and shipping there products out to you.By the 3 day I had 5 charges to my debit card and nothing in the mail has been received to return or call and cancel. All this for a gift from hell. Not happy with Wal-mart giving my information out to this company. And I am saying this was a scam to get me to buy stuff I do not want. He keep saying don't worry you will only be charged for the 3.95 and the recording has nothing to do with you, we just have to have you hear it and say OK on the recording.
