Meyrs Liquers Store Brooklyn
Consumer Report

Miscellaneous

I bought in the store Meyers Liquors on 1504 Avenue M in Brooklyn on Sunday March31 the wine which was spoiled, discolored and smelled as vinegar. I felt very bad this evening, feeling noshes. When I brought it back asking to exchange, the salesman rejected telling that if I opened wine in a store he would do it (funny answer). When I asked for manager he did not want to give me the phone and did not allowed to look at the certificate starting to scream and yell. I was about to call to police, but my phone did not work. I paid for this wine $14.99 (plus I bought in a store 3 more bottles of different wines paying $64 all together, which I presented to my friends and probably they will have the same problem).
That wine was 2003 and probably was outdated. They not suppose to sell outdated wine which could harm people and at least suppose to apologize and take back the spoiled product. It's a shame and dangerous to have such business in our city.
