The scam happened in Sept but was contacted on April 12 by a person claiming to be with the District Attorney of Phoenix working on my case. He had contacted BMI and said they agreed to pay me $685 when I returned the W9 form they emailed. I called the DA and they had two attorney's by this name (neither was working on my case). This group was trying to get my SS number to do more damage. I really wish someone would stop this group from scamming older people who've worked all of their life for what little money they have.
