Forest Law Group SCAM - Beware!

Forest Law Center is a scam! I received the mailer advertising loan modification terms. I googled them and, at that time (April) they seemed to be legit. I sent them $3500 very quickly since they said my case was critically time sensitive.

It's been 3 months and I just learned that my mortgage company has never been contacted by them or heard of them! The California Bar said they were not in their database and I should ask for the name of an attorney specifically. I called FLG and was told they couldn't give me an individual name because FLG's contract had expired and my case was being handled by someone else. I pushed for any names but was repeatedly told that they couldn't help me but that they would have an attorney call me to clarify and answer my questions. That never happened!

Bottom line... Do NOT send money to Forest Law Center or Forest Law Group and call the state bar to verify any attorney or firm before you contact a loan modification company.
