Business buys used cell phones. We sent them our phone. They contacted us and told us we sent in the wrong phone. We apologized and agreed to pay shipping to send the phone and all it's contents back to us. When they sent phone back, they kept all of the property and only sent us the phone. We contacted them, and told them we have several items missing. They had said that they threw the rest away, and that they did not accept that model of phone, but if I was willing to pay another shipping charge, then they would send me "extra parts" that they have sitting around. Without our property (which is rightfully and legally ours), we are unable to power up our phone, nor can we sell the phone to another business or individual. They kept our original box, owners manual, wall power unit, USB cable and stereo ear buds. We don't even know if they sent us back a damaged phone because we cannot power it up to find out. They are holding our property demanding more money before we can have possession of it. They have refused to work with us and return our property which should have been returned with the first shipment that we paid for. Our questions are, "If they don't deal with that model of phone, then how could they have "extra parts" lying around their business?", "They say that they throw away boxes and extra parts when they get the phones for "security reasons to protect their customers", when there is no personal or account information given on the phone box. All the phone box has on it, is the same information that is easily available on the phone behind the battery, such as the IMEI Number?" We believe that these people con people into sending in phones to sell at high quotes, but when the business gets the phone in their possession, they offer a revised offer that is much lower.in addition, if the consumer decides to decline the offer, then the business will only send back the phone only, keeping extra device parts and accessories, and possibly reselling those accessories back to the roiginal consumer, or to other consumers to make a profit. They are unwilling to send our legal property back to us at their expense, instead, they want us to pay for "extras" to be shipped to us that may or may not work for our cell phone. We feel that they are unethical in their business practices and are unwilling to return, what we feel as, stolen property that rightfully belongs to us!
