I am in a program online that allows me to take surveys and receive free merchandise and earn points for money. I was sent an email saying that I had won a trip for 2 to the Bahamas and to click to receive and then they would text me a number to put in the slot to secure the trip and verify my identity. Well I never received the text so a few days later I was contacted by phone. The representative on the phone got upset with me because I told her I would call back later to secure a $118 dollar charge that she said was needed in order to go into another country. She said to me "well when you thought you could do it online you were gonna register for your trip" and then she hung up in my face. I called back and unbelieveable the same person answer the phone. What's the chances of that at a call center? I told her the situation and she told me never mind maam, we will pass it on to someone else and hung up in my face again. Please do as I did whenever you have potentionally won something online. Ask to pay later. It will save your bank account.
