I was contacted several months ago by someone called Janis from Techprosupport who informed me that another Company HelpPcOnline who I had used to sort out faults on my PC were fraudulent and assured me that Techprosupport were legitimate and would service my PC for 3 years at a cost of £99.99 which I paid and it seemed they were genuine because they cleaned my PC and it seemed to be working faster and better.
I was then contacted by some mysterious person who said they were from Microsoft and that my PC was full of viruses which needed fixing. I told this person I was already protected, so I thought, by Techprosupport.
He told me that they were not licensed by Microsoft but I did not take up his offer because I knew at the end of the chat there would be yet another charge to pay!
However since the opening service by Techpro I have tried to contact them on their phone number - 0208 144 4106 several times but am often told by an operator that "the person you are calling is not available. Please leave a message" I have done this several times but never get a reply!
I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get a reply but I live very near to the address I was given in London N12 0DR so will go there tomorrow and check. I will add to this complaint afterwards
