Was told over the phone that I had accumulated over $4500 in debt by using different cfedit cards. Also, I would need an attorny, because I was being taken to court over this matter. And my bank assets would be frozen. I was shocked at first by this and then I realized this was probably a "scam". Because I had just refinanced my home and recieved a very high credit rating. Aiso, I had recieved copies of my credit reports, and they were all good. There wasn"t any "collection notices"on file. Plus no public records of any bankrupties, liens, or judgements against me. I was also told that I would be sent an affidavit and that I needed to fill it out and send it back to the people or place that it came from. I did go talk to my bank to let them know what was going on. And I did play the voice mail for them. It sounds like a"scam"to them also. So, I'm just waiting to see how this is carried out.
