Like most of the people filing complaints here, mine was not too different. They kept calling me, saying I had won a $1000 gift card. The first few times, I said I wasn't interested. They didn't give up, so I thought "they wouldn't keep calling if I didn't really win." I asked them about the gift card, and they said that all I had to do was pay for a few months of magazine subscriptions. I did, and the nonexistent gift card never arrived. When I tried to cancel, they said that I couldn't, and have been calling me often to tell me that my account is going to collections and that my credit will be ruined. They're bluffing - they can't do anything to wreck your credit. They are scammers, nothing more, nothing less.
