The company listed an apartment in downtown South Beach for $110 per night.in order to rent it, I was asked to send a bank wire to a certain Citibank account containing a security deposit of $200 and half the rent for an intended four days' stay—another $220. First it was said the apartment was located at the corner of 11th Street and Collins Avenue; after the money was paid it was said to be just a meeting place from which I would be conducted to an actual apartment. After I wired the amount per the instructions I had received, there was no further communication, either by email or telephone.
