I am a victim of a skillful scammer who e-mailed me with a friend's address requesting help from being stranded in the Phillipines and in distress. I was supicious but fell for their spiel. It involved transactions through Western Union on March 20,21, 22, (single date scams) and March 23 (two transactions). Total scamming of $4960.
Last request/attempt today of which I did not comply.
They accessed me through rosie_65705_98@live.com.
Her real e-mail is the same except it is yahoo.com rather than live.com.
Subject line was Rosemary Henderson - adding / I was hospitalized from March 24 onward.
I was suspicious many times but foolishly ignored those feelings, rather stupidly.
The Phillipino address was Rosemary Henderson at58, Mary cris crecent in Quezon City, Manilla.
Their last request was Rosemary Henderdson at West Midlands, CV9PL in West Midlands in the United Kingdom.
I have all e-mail correspondence in print. I have yahoo. File of same.
