Miscellaneous

I thought I was signing up for a Mystery Shopper. When I received the "cashier's check" with instructions, something just did not seem quite right.in other words, it was too good to be true (you know the rest). I did some research and used a little common sense. The check was for $2416 and I was to keep $216 for my salary and wire $1100 each to 2 different people using Western Union and Moneygram. I received the check on February 23 and was to deposit it into my account and when it cleared, take my "salary" and send the other back to the people listed in the instructions. They wanted me to do this the next day. Had I done this I would have been stuck with a worthless cashier's check, along with other fees from my bank and they would have my money with no way for me to recover it. I had not responded to them since receiving the check, so I received an email on March 26. I tried to respond back to them and neither of the emails listed were working. So I belileve since I did not send them the money immediately as they requested, they smelled a rat and deleted the bogus emails. These people need to be stopped.
