Miscellaneous

Left several messages using my name on both my cell phone as well as my home phone. Says there is a restraining order against me and that I must appear in court and that "pursuant" there is a restraining order against me. Leaves a case number to forward to my attorney and a call back number. I called the number to tell them to remove my number from their system. I tried a number of option to reach a human. Each option would either say leave a message or that the party I was trying to reach was unavailable, or when I would get a live body and tried to engage them about this being a scam, they would hang up. The last option I tried, which was "settlement" was answered by a human. They read me the first four digits of my social security number, when I told them I refused to provide any additional information until I got some better information, he told me if I could not verify the information he had, then he could not proceed. I told them this was a scam and to quit calling me, but before I could finish, he hung up. When I called again, he was nasty, rude, and very condescending to me, saying "good luck in court", then hung up. Now, when I call back, it picks up then hangs right back up. I just want them to stop calling me every day!
And I want them investigated for fraud. They did not, nor will they ever get any $ from me, but I fear for other unsuspecting victims.
