I purchased an HP Care Pack after buying a laptop from another retailer after owning it a while, now my warranty has run out because no matter when you purchase the care pack it starts on the date you bought the computer, not the day you buy the warranty! You are not told this beforehand, I was told it had nothing to do with the year of free warranty that comes with purchase until there product needs repair. If there's a year difference it still starts at the date of purchase which means the consumer loses for trusting HEWLETT PACKARD!!!
