Miscellaneous

(This is a copy of a letter I wrote J Lee of the Deseret News.)
I have been caught up in the Internet/E Commerce scam. I originally had a desire
to start an in home business. I have recently retired and felt that an additional
income to supplemental our retirement would be good for us. The company I contacted was "Premier Mentoring."
I have never considered myself a fool and have never gotten caught up in anything that I felt I could not control myself. Well this endeavor was an exception.
I intially was promised close supervision and all the help I would need to be successful. That first promise was many among promise after promise. I was told many times there would be a delay in finishing any particular section.
This is when I began to be contacted by numerous individuals who wanted to
pick up where Premier had left off. I wonder how they knew where I was in the process
of getting a successful business operating.
This process started in July and I still have not got an operating website.
I have to say that a hospital stay held me up for about a two-three week period.
When you start the process you are in a active stage. During this stage you can talk to a "Coach" on the phone anytime they will call you back or return a call to you.
"The next phase is a "proactive" stage. At this time the only time you can talk to anyone is to call and leave a message and you may or may not receive a return call.
I have attempted oh sooo many times to progress on my own but I just do not have the computer skills to follow the directions on the presentations provided online via videos.
Now after $9500.00 and 10 months I don't feel I am any closer to a viable business than when I started.
The major issue with these people is to get your money and push you aside so they don't have to spend anymore time with you. Also they drag you along telling you it is going to take a longer time to complete the course if you don't pay for all the extra cost of additional help from various sources who also play on your desire to start making money, of course this is well orchestrated as you attempt to get going as fast as possible.
All in all no matter how sincere you are you will never get the help you had been promised and eventually they hope you will just go away, forget what you have invested and just give up.
I will be happy to help you in your investigation in any way I can.

Respectfully.
