Well Fargo Bank
Consumer Report

Miscellaneous

I left $175.00 in a checking account linked to a savings account just before I was called up to US Army active duty in Afghanistan. The savings account had an auto deposit of $25 from the checking account on a monthly basis to avoid the monthly checking account fees. This was what the new accounts rep advised. While I was on active duty in Afghanistan the bank changed it's policy and decided to stop doing the auto-deposit from checking to savings and so the checking account became a monthly fee account. WFB said they notified me in my monthly statements which I did not get being that I was overseas. The monthly fee continued until the whole $175 was gone and continued until I now owed WFB about $55 in fees. When I returned they told me those were righteous fees and I even had to pay them the $55. I paid it otherwise they report you to chexsystems.
I just want everyone here to know how bad a corporate citizen WFB is.
And they willingly took OUR taxpayer bailout money.
Next time any politician tells you corporations need tax breaks to survive and hire workers answer them by voting them out of office.
