Caller With Strong Accent Warned of Virus on My Motherboard

A Ralph Martin? (with strong accent), claiming to be from Microsoft, ID MSW0075, phone no. 02 84172679, informed me that I had been sending "irregular errors" to them and that there was a virus on my motherboard. He could show me; I won't be able to find it.

What do you think? Is he legit? Should I give him access to my PC?
