Double charged for one account after payment glitch

My husband was paying monthly Netflix account of
$7.99, one time it didn't go through and I gave my credit card info for that payment only to be authorized, a year later we find out we each had been charged separately for the one netflix account, my husband called and they will not return half or even credit it to us, they told us in a pretty rude way over the phone that theyfo not issue credits
