Miscellaneous

I sent them an email and I'm surprised that I got a response. They told me they could not issue a refund of my $98.00 because the trial period was 14 days. The web site popping up on JCPenny site. I was not aware that I was signing up for a trial period for anthing.
There was a Pop up and it stated "Wathes for $5.95 shipping only. There was not other other information about a trial period. I didn't know I was joining a membership. I assumed I was just getting the watch. To my dismay my bank account was charged with the $5.95 and then a few days later it was charged again for $98.00 I received my watch on Friday Feb. 22nd and I called my bank and they gave me a phone number that was on the charge. I called them to tell them I wanted my money back, lady answered and said she could only give me support email address. So I emailed them and I finally get an email back telling me that my 14 day trial period had expired. So I would not be entitled to a refund.
I thought I must be ignorant to have done such a stupid thing. Then I see that many more have been scammed too.
Being 79 Years old and on a fixed income, I cannot and will not stand for this (Inappropriate Content Removed).
