This person advertises job positions for secret shopping. They send you a check for $950.00, and tell you $100.00 is for you to spend at Walmart and evaluate their customer service and such. You get to keep 100% of everything that you buy there. $70.00 is your compensation for sending the remaining $780.00 to a Rita Braid, 112 M Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002. When I put that address into Google maps, the result was a building called Constitution Square 711. The name for that address is CS Marster V LLC. The person who actually sent out the email claims to be just a worker. Her name is Jennifer Hoffacker: portofinoitalia@gmail.com. I thought since the email didn't ask for any money up front, that it was actually legitimate. The check didn't bounce initially when I deposited it into my checking account, but a couple of days later it did. The day I deposited the check, I went straight to Walmart. I did some major grocery shopping since I had the $100 to spend for the secret shopping and $70.00 for doing the Western Union transaction. I ended up spending $162.87 at Walmart. Once the check bounced, and I did not have enough money in my checking account to cover it, then the bank tried to pull the funds from my savings account, which only had a balance of $12.35. So my bank took that money and added a $19.00 overdraft fee. The total amount that was pulled from my bank account is $194.22. I feel like a total idiot, but I guess you live and learn.
