I was looking for a 2nd part time job to help cover some of the bills I have. I came across an ad that was detailed specific for a personal assistant. I ended up emailing about the job and sent in my resume. I received a check and was told to take my portion and wire the money to "his art suppliers" in which I followed through the instructions. Come to find out the check was counterfeit and now I am out of the money that was in my account but I already sent the money so I am in a bind. I should have been smarter than that. But the urgency of getting a second job blinded my vision of seeing this fraud.
