Green Tree Servicing took over my loan from the bankrupted GMACMortgage. My first experience with them has me scrambling to refinance my loan just to get rid of them. I went to make an online payment like I always do this time of the month, only to find out that they charge $12 just to post a payment to my account with out the assistance of customer support. I have been paying online for several years as it provides an electronic trail and the check can not get "lost in the mail". I called customer support and got the rudest person on the phone who basically told me too fucking bad, when I asked to speak to a supervisor I got hung up on. 6.875% is a nice loan to collect on and now I am certain Green Tree has lost my business. I hope more of you fire them by refinancing.
