Miscellaneous

I was contactd by an Eric Carter. He told me that I was eligible for Gov't grants. I followed his instructions and wired $205 (with a $24 fee) to someone in Florida. After wiring the money, I was told that a representative of the bank releasing the funds would be contacting me.

At this time, a Mr. David Johnson called me and said that I needed to wire $799 (with a $40 fee) to a Rosetta Davis in Florida. After doing this, I was told to wait 90 minutes for the money to be transferred to my account. After waiting the requirred time, no money was transferred. I then called Mr. Johnson and he told me there was a "security issue" with the transfer. He said that the Finance Manager would be contacting me within 45 minutes to resolve this problem.

After about 25 minutes, a Mr. David Green, called me and told me that I now needed to wire $799 in order to receive the funds promised.

After wiring the $499 for Mr. Johnson, I asked him if I would need to be wiring any more money in order to receive the promised grant money. I was told that no further funds would need to be wired. This is in direct conflict with what Mr. David Green was now telling me.
