Check Fraud Scam through Craigslist:
Person mails a check through USPS saying asap on receipt to deposit into your bank, deduct your payment, and send the rest via Western Union to:
Nancy Payne, Searcy, Arkansas, 72143. You are asked to pay the $50 Western Union fee. Email back the Senders Name, Adress 10 Digit MTCN #, Amount. This is being done in response to people offering services such as personal assistance, driving, etc. My senior father was the one almost scammed before I googled and saw it was word for word a scam, so fortunately no money was lost. These people should be caught and prosecuted.
