Misrepresentation by a company

A gentleman called me on a undisclosed phone number claiming to represent Windows customer service and repairs for Cystron about an online contamination. I asked for a telephone number and an ID #. He said his name was Ron with id # 45306. When I asked why my antivirus company did not call me with this information he asked what antivirus company I had and proceeded to tell me he has never heard of my antivirus company. He then hung up on me. When I called the number Ron gave me it turns out to be an antivirus company.
