I can reveal that GSS made the same offer to me (cold call) by way of the promise (I had won) a $1000 gift voucher from Wallmart. This I would receive in the post shortly after agreeing to subscribe to a number (5) magazines. As with others nothing was received and phone calls and letters were to no avail. After 2 payments and no award or magazines I cancelled. GSS did later advise that I had only 7 days to cancel. Too late GSS, I did. To date magazines have arrived (NO AWARD) I notified them that as I had cancelled they were unsolicited mail and would be destroyed. They have since threatened to have my credit rating affected, and contact a third party collection service. Oh! But they did offer a drastic reduction in subscriptions if I was to contact them. GUILT? I have kept all correspondence and they can attempt any action, but my cancellation is done, and honest. More than I can say for GSS.
