I applied for a loan on line. I received several phone calls from holiday phone loans. I spoke to a male who identified himself as Brian Adams. I reluctantly gave my personal information to Mr Adams. After that his thick accent got much thicker and I could not understand what he was saying to me. I asked him to repeat himself several times. He then transferred me to the " loan officer named Victor Jones. His accent was very think, but I made out the words that I will be charged $89.00 and $19.00. I was never given the price that I would be loaned. I asked was the call being recorded and was told that it was. I then stated that I DO NOT WANT THE LOAN, and I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER
I am very concerned that I was scammed. I will contact my bank and look at my credit report and credit inquiries very closely for the next several months.
