I received my lantern around Oct. 7th 2012. When I got it I checked to make sure it worked and it did. However I haven't needed it for anything until recently on 1/22. When I turned it on it didn't work. I thought maybe I had left it on and drained the new batteries so I purchased more new batteries and it still didn't work. When I shake it the LED light inside of it comes on for about a second but will not stay on. I called customer service and they told me it only had a 30 day warranty on it. There is no way to get the thing opened to see if something has come loose. The person at customer service was useless in trying to help me. The lantern is made really cheap also, nothing like how they make it look on TV. I am so dissatisfied with this product I would not recommend it to anyone!
