I "won" a watch on 4 Jan from Markmax Co. All I had to do was pay $1.19 for the shipping charges. 14 days later, there was a charge for $98.00 for a charge to join this watch company and receive a watch every month for $98.00. They explained that I could have cancelled that membership in the first 14 days, to get out of the charge, but they did not give a phone # nor an e-mail address to do so. No where did it say that this was a membership trial period, and that I had 14 days to cancel. I had to e-mail them at billing@markmaxco.com to request a refund. I did have a cancellation Number, but this is an unfair business transaction, and my bank will do nothing to help with this problem.
