I was looking to buy an English Bulldogg and googled english bulldogg breeders and came across an ad Giving away a male name MAX. I contacted them by email and they sent pix and said Max is FREE because their dad died and they wanted to give him away quickly because he gave them reminders of their dad. They went to tell me that i had to pay a courier to get dogg and it was $400 UPFRONT. Immediately i was leary. I offered to fly out to get dogg and asked for a RECENT pic of Max and they said NO to both and that i "had" to use courier. Finally i said I either fly out to get him or forget it... They then said ok but that i have to put a $200 deposit, i then replied why would i need to put a deposit on Max if you're giving him away for FREE?! I nailed them with that reply and they never replied again. I was LUCKY not to give in to this scam... BE CAREFUL!!! The ladies name was Tammy Benjamin!!
