We met on match.com began speaking on the phons several times a day since oct. 2012. I mentioned I had been to Turkey —all of a sudden he got a job in turkey. Then there were complications. When i phoned him in turkey if i did not get through they were speaking in turkish. There were several red flags. He told me he lived in Edison NJ but was from Sweden. He asked me if he voted and said he had too. When I asked him if he was a citizen, he said no but he had a green card.
I told him you cannot vote with a green card.
I asked him not to call me again, but he phoned a week later begging, sent me a copy of his passport. The last name was Swegali.
He also sent me a copy of his check book, bank card and all of the information needed to access his online bank account as well as to deposit money into his bank of america account. Against my better judgement, I gave him two $3,000 payments and the last for $4,500 because he was coming home. He wanted me to pick him up at the airport. The night he was supposed to arrive I got a call from another turkish number explaining that he was in a terrible accident and needed money for an operation. The "supposed doctor" called me at least 5 times.
I just do not want anyone to have to go through what I did. Have all bank acct.info and will provide it as needed as well as copies of most emails.
