A lady has called me numerous times claiming that I have won a Walmart and gas gift card worth $160. I typically hung up, and called the number back to be greeted by an automated machine that repeated what the woman had said. This time, I was not busy, so I decided to respond ton the caller. I told her I had not remembered filling out the survey. And she assured me that I had, she didn't know the date, but she knew I had filled it out. So I further asked what type of survey and I was hung up on. The next time I received the call, I simply said I would like to decline the reward, please pass it to someone else who is in need of it. After that, I was confronted with the truth. The lady had claimed to be two referrals away from "platinum level." I'm assuming this is some type of pyramid scam. Watch out and do not comply. They have called me 40 times and I'm beginning to get frustrated as they call and interrupt important meetings. If the calls continue, I will have the reoccurring number blocked.
