Charged my wife's bank card the amt. Of $39.94 for something I nor my wife purchased!

Somebody used my wife's check card information obviously to make a purchase on the internet. I discovered the transaction this morning when I logged onto my web banking account.
I immediately contacted the bank and had the account frozen. The only information the bank could provide was that the transaction took place at 5:54 AM today 17 January.
I googled SAFE CART enabling me to file this report.
