Miscellaneous

A viable real estate workshop was marketed but not provided. The cost of $1997 and $997 for a tax lien supplement was presented to me on 3/20 whereby I was told that I had 90 days from the date of a 3 day seminar to request a refund if not satisfied with the information and education presented. I was told that I would get answers to all questions at the 3 day seminar and advice of what I should do with my current real estate pursuits, including how to secure grants for up to $30,000 to rehab real estate in Philadelphia. When I reviewed all material before seminar, I found no such information and I asked my "assigned" consultant as well as those providing seminar for answers. None were given except a response with "I don't know, you would receive advice from the next series if you sign up." That series cost $40,000. This group never provided any serious information or education but instead made 70 people or so sit in a conference room for 3 days to listen to stories of real estate transactions done over 3 years prior. The speaker even said, "there is no value in the customer service portion of your purchase or the tax lien supplement portion which was $997 of the $2994 and in order to receive my 'hand-holding' services which is the only thing that has value, you must pay $40,000 for a week long seminar to be held by Dean Graziozi, himself.

I had called up the day after the seminar to get an RMA number to return all products that were not opened and were secured for shipment. I was told that the next person would provide. The next person didn't. The third person called me back and offered a "tape" series to compensate - I refused. I called to have this transaction reversed through American Express as they had been given strict orders to not allow Dean Graziozi access to my credit cards. Dean Graziozi used a different name to charge my credit cards.insider's Financial Education is a Dean Graziozi company. I would like a full refund of $2994.00 as I had called today to resolve this issue with the company and Whitney Thomas said that they denied responsibility but told me that "had I done so within 90 days of taking the seminar" they would have granted it. Dean Graziozi has deliberately set up a marketing scam to charge thousands of people all across America for phony real estate education courses that provide no honest valuable education at all.
