I received an email from Micheal Hunter – recruiting@dolphindrillinguk.com – stating that they had received my application for the post of 2nd officer. Attached to the email was an “assessment form” I was to fill out and return by December 17. After filling out and returning the assessment, I received a confirmation email stating that if I were accepted for the job, I would be contacted by Jan 1st 2013.
On Jan 4th I received email stating that I was being offered a position as a 2nd Mate. I was sent an employment contract to sign and return which was legally and technically very sound.
I was then referred to Mr, Brian Cox, brian. Cox@immigrationspecialist.org
Telephone: 442035145838 an “immigration specialist” who would assist me with the application for a UK work permit. I sent the requested documents, and was told that it takes 1 to 2 weeks for a work permit to be granted.
Mr Butler informed me that travelers insurance was required for a UK work permit. The policy needed to cover:
A, Repatriation or Emergency Medical Evacuation
B, Medical Treatment.
C, Death or Permanent Disability
D, Baggage Loss and Baggage Delay
He suggested I contact email at info@thameassurance.com to obtain this policy.
However it sounded something fishy.
So i started searching on the net, and came to know about the fraud.
The terms and conditions were very lucrative.
I Thank God... Since i was about to quit the present employer i was employed with.
