They allowed someone to create false details in a profile of a young woman seeking sexual chat etc with my phone number (53 year old man)
on their subscription paid membership social networking site
So in effect they were charging people to access false details and allowing them to spend on texts & phone calls where they expected a young pretty woman but got a middle aged bloke.
They could have avoided this by asking for confirmation of permission to use the phone number with a simple text to the phone number before allowing said number to be posted on their site!
