Time Warner cable just tries to steal money from you

I really like internet speed, but the experienced that I had so far with Time Warner Cable it hasn't been that good. First of all, I was making all my payments on time, most of the time I'll pay them online and one day I messed up and put the wrong credit card number. So I knew that next bill was going to be larger because of the late payment. Then I got a bill of $71 that was due on Dec 05 and I paid it and couple days later I got another one saying that I had to pay $129 by Dec 13. My mom called to see why were they charging soo much and they told her that it was because of the contract that we got it was only good for one year. I think we got the contract on 9/25 and they were saying its over a year when it has been only like 3 months. So my mom ended paying like $47. Then my mom told her that she wanted to cancel it because we were going to go on vacation. It wasn't going to be worth paying for the time that we weren't going to be here. The only service that we have is the standard Internet, so the lady told my mom to get the data seasonal service its $5 month for the time that we were going to be gone. My mom told her that we were going to be out of town for a month or a little bit more, so the lady told her to get 2 months in case we stay longer and that if we come back earlier to call so they can put it back. I called couple days ago and they told me that I had to wait until Feb 10 when the two months were over. They told me that if I wanted my standard Internet back before the two months were over I had to pay like $52. They are just trying to take money out of you with lies. If they don't fix this I'm going to have to cancelled it tomorrow.
