Respected Sir/Ma’am,

This is to inform you that I, Vikas Sinha (Cono: 91-9900030487,9818826564), bought "HP Pavilion g6tx" from Reliance Digital (Bangalore) in early october'2012 (not more than 3 months now)., with full faith on the brand and after sales services. However, I have recently had pathetic customer service from the HP Customer Service centre in India.

Request: Please arrange to get hard disk of my laptop replaced on an emergency basis as I have to take my exams next week (13 jan) and this laptop is the only source for studies. HP Pavilion g6tx product: B3H81PA#ACJ serial NO: 5CD21734D9

Issue: My Hard disk has crashed, and Call centre people are not at all helpful in getting it replaced even under warranty.

Problem Description: My laptop was working ok till 01Jan however, from 02 Jan it stopped booting. I booked a complaint on HP website on 02Jan'13 and next day I called to HP call centre for the same reason engineer asked me many questions and I answered all of them and tried to fix it on the call by doing the things I was asked by him but nothing worked out at the end I was told to buy recovery CD's instead of sending any engineer to check my laptop. I told that I have to take my exams in next week but no care or concern was shown. The person I spoke to was not well qualified technically and was rude on call also. He finally disconnected my call. I recalled the customer support number, and someone just picked and disconnected the call. On my third call to HP, I simply agreed to the third executive to buy Recovery CD's, although I knew that it won’t help as, if hard disk is not responding then how would it boot or read CD's, still I placed my order for recovery CD's.in order to get my problem resolved personally, as no one was ready to understand my problem at HP, I arranged a Genuine Windows7 cd and tried to install it myself, however, same problem as expected, it did not boot as Hard disk was not being detected, I called a local engineer to get this checked if this can be fixed, he informed me that my hard disk is crashed and I will have to buy a new hard disk. So I called HP on 04Jan to get my hard disk replaced, I am being asked to send a photo of the screen shot of the computer error message, but how do I get a screen shot when my computer is not working at all. I do not have any camera phone or camera to take a photo. I have recently moved to Bangalore from Delhi and don’t really know much people to ask anyone to give me their phone or camera. Should I buy a camera or a camera phone to get the photo of error.

Even when you ask any of the executive to pass to call to their supervisor or any other senior person, they would simply deny and say no one is available. I request you to please arrange for an engineer who can come and check my hard disk as people in call centre are not ready to believe my words and are not ready to help me in any case. If I would need to buy a new hard disk even after buying warranty for two years from the date of purchase, I would rather like to get this product returned and get my money back.

Complaints Ref No.: Your request is being worked on under Case ID number 4643480933. Booking a complaint on the website is really tough, you don’t really find any proper link to write you complaint on the HP website.
Irony is this that when you try to find this product on following page to send a complaint, you never find it (HP Pavilion g6tx Notebook PC) on website, moreover, when you try to find you product it says product not found, as if I have bought an alien product.
