Don't get the ice cream, get the omlette

I love IHOP breakfast stuff, but thought I would try an ice cream sundae tonight. The center of the sundae was so freezer burned and rock hard re-frozen that I could not even cut it with a knife. Cynthia, our excellent server, agreed to microwave it on my request, but it didn't help very much.in Texas, IHOP could easily offer Blue Bell or Braum's ice cream.instead what they served tonight didn't even taste like iced milk, and was simply an ice cube with whipped cream and strawberries on it. On the plus side, my son ordered the Colorado Omlette and loved it. I guess the lesson learned is to order breakfast stuff at breakfast places and ice cream at ice cream places.
