Unauthorized Charges

In July my wife bought a book for me. She did not know that she joined this book club. Since then we have been charged $9.95 every month. We thought each other was charging something until it overdrew our account. It was then we found out that neither of us authorized this charge. I called my bank and got the phone from them. I talked to a Mario at the customer service line. He was able to cancel the membership, but wanted the check card info to reverse charges. Told him that it should be in the database. He told me they were an outside service and did not have that info. All I got to say is that when buying anything I will only use a company that has a good reputation like Barnes and Noble.
