Cannot reach them by phone

I am trying to get a zero balance statement or letter from DLP. It is nigh on impossible to get hold of them. The only telephone number I have for them is supposed to be toll free, but isn't. And then it doesn't work anyway. I have left messages on their website to ask for what i need, and get no answer. I had wanted to go back to them in the future, but will not after reading the comments and my own experience. They are not the same book club now that they were when I joined. If they don't straighten up and change their ways, they are looking at losing their members. And their mailing address is in Garden City New York, but their telephone number (nonworking) is in Pennsylvania. STAY AWAY FROM THEM PEOPLE.
