Lien on my property?!?! WHAT - Trash Pick up

My boyfriend opened an account with WM years ago. We rarely got bills, and when they did he paid them. Sometimes when he would call they would say that everything was fine. Come to find out there is a gentleman in our city with the same name as my husband (they didnt bother to verify street address and his name is just as common as Robert Smith). About 3 months ago I get a notice that they have put a lien on my property (the house is only in my name). No response from Customer service. I guess on to the BBB.: (
