Let's just get to the bottom this. Magic Jack is great until it isn't. The minute you have a problem, just throw it in the trash and chalk it up to experience. The chat line just keeps you dangling. Love to see someone go under cover into one of their operations. They surly must be laughing their heads off about how much they can scam us out of. Thank goodness I just let Vonage get my number that I've had for 30 years back from them. Still I got an email saying, "sorry to see you go. Just click here to finish this transactions". This sends you to a page that says you have to pay an additional $31 to get the phone number back. Luckily, Vonage told me to ignore it. They had captured my original number. This is a scam, pure and simple.
