Undisclosed baggage restrictions!

I arranged a trip to from Minneapolis to Berlin having a layover at Gatwick in London. The worldwide trip permitted me to occupy to 2 bags at 70 pounds along with a keep on carrier. I introduced 1 carrier at 70 pounds along with a keep on. After coming to Gatwick following a lengthy trip I re-check my bags. The ticketer in the connecting flight Air Berlin explained they just permitted 1 carrier as much as 30 pounds with no carry-ons. Just how can this be? They explained I had a need to spend an extr 150 lbs to deliver my bags onto Berlin. I'd actually mention returning home. Why might priceline guide me on the trip via a provider that doesn't help any kind of worldwide carrier limitations? No-where on some of their paperwork achieved it say something similar to this may occur. I spent hours speaking with cs representatives and got no-where and that I fundamentally nearly compensated the price of the trip twice due to it.
