I scanned in a lot of legal books I used for my master's degree. For the first lot, they offered me $149.00, but after they received and scanned my books, they offered me $74.00. I got an email saying the check was on the way, but I never received it. Even after emailing them to say the check had not arrived, they were rude and still would not reissue it.
About one week after I shipped the first box of books, I sent another box with just a few books. They offered me $10.00, but only sent me a check for $0.56 - yes, you read that right, 56 cents! But where is the first check they said they sent? Nowhere to be found. They never pay what they say they will - it's a rip-off!
