Software rebate ripoff

I downloaded my McAfee Software on August 28. On September 10 I received an email stating they had received my information and were processing my rebate. On Oct 22 I emailed and inquired about the statuse of my rebat and why I hadn't received it yet. I received an email the same day stating the check had been processed on October 19, and would arrive in 15 days. After 15 days the check has not arrived. I called them today, Nov 5, they said they could issue a new check, but couldn't issue it until after 30 days of issue from the first check and I should call back on Nov 19.

This is obviously a fraud to get people to give up on their rebate, and charge their customer an additonal $25 for their product. All I can say to them is enjoy the money, it will be the last time I buy anything from McAfee.
