Doesn't honor thier own adds

I went into Fry's to purchase a new computer they advertised in The Oregonian news paper (11/03). It was a Compaq computer (item# SR1250NX#4200504) with an in store price of $549.95 and a mail-in rebate for $50.

They had the computer but the price was not the same. They wanted $100 more than the advertised price. They said the news paper printed the wrong price and they would not honor it.

I called the news paper and they said they don't insert the prices, what you see in the paper is what Fry's submitted to the news paper. The paper did not make a mistake! Fry's is not honoring their advertised prices.
