Purchase from was never delivered Rip off

I went onto ishop2save.com to buy a discoball and have it delivered to my friend for christmas. My credit card was charged on the 18th of December and according to the company, the packaged was shipped out on the 22nd of December.

Well, apparently the package never got to its destination.in mid January, I emailed the company to inquire about the still undelivered purchase, but they did not reply to the email. A week later, I called up the company—after finding a number on its website.

I spoke to a person and he said he will look up the records to check on the order. He promised to email a response to the inquiry but I never got any email.

Two days later, I called up the company again and this time the same guy said he will get back to me within 24 hours via email. Well, I did get an email from the company the next day and what it said was that they had the order shipped out on the 22nd of December.

He said if the package does not arrive in 30 days all they could do was to file a claim on the lost package. I replied in an email saying they should make sure the package arrives at the destination and that if it doesn't they should either refund me or sent out another order—as I do not think it is my fault the pacakage was lost in delivery.

Well, they replied that their responsibility was only to pack the order and then have it shipped and that all they could do now was to file a claim on the lost item.

I am not satisfied with how they are dealing with my complaint and I feel cheated. I do think they have bad business practices and that as a customer I am just very dissappoionted. Not only did the order not make it as a Christmas present, it was lost... And they are not about to do anything about it, except to file a claim.

I just want everybody to know how bad this company is and to not buy anything from this website because I don't want anyone else to be scammed like i think i was.
