Nyquist Group Promised laptop repair. Do no answer phone. Laptop not repaired or returned as promised

I answered an ad in the Yellow Pages to have my laptop repaired. The problem was a simple one—repairing a connectiion. It was to be reparied within 24 hours. It has been about two week without contact. I called yesterday and spoke with a woman who said it had to be shipped to their "other facility". I called today and there was no answer at any of the five or six listing of XR Technologies, Nyquist Engineering, Nyquist Group, Robert Pachaly or any of the other related facilities.
